Or maybe there's a far better way to achieve this? "lookup the text in the cell to the left, count that quantity, multiply it by 1.15 (for spares), round up to the nearest whole number."Īnyone have any basic templates they wouldn't mind demonstrating? Ideally, I'd like VWX to work like an excell spreadsheet and give me a formula like Of I can get VWX to count the instruments but then I have to take that number and enter it on the appropriate line.Īnd as for cable, I have no idea how to get a count in.

I want to make a report that give me a quantity of each of the fixture types in my show so I can make a rental gear list.Īs it is, I just have a template that has each item listed but I have to manually enter the quantities. Essentially a gear list that can be slung to the rental house. Now I need to get VWX to be able to do a "counts" sheet without the help of LW. Here's another I just found using 2 centered.I've been using lightwright for as long as I've been using VWX so its never come up before. I ended up taking the cover off and just putting a folded towel underneath to protect the cabinet. I was going to go without subs for this small wedding and just use the RCF-745A on stands, but it was a bit anemic so I added it quickly and just ran it off an aux. Here's a pic of a small wedding setup with just 1 of the 702-AS in the middle. The coupling improves performance a noticeable amount and centering them is often the better option versus the power alley effect of having them on each side. They only stand about as high as a monitor. Then again, I'm not all that wild about where tripod stands need to be placed in cramped bars.īecause the RCF is so small, it doesn't look terrible center clustering a pair on their sides in front of the band, even when there is no stage. It doesn't look as good but is much safer to use a stand and just put the sub next to it. Between being very light and having a small footprint, the RCFs aren't really safe to use with speakers on top. Worth a look/listen.If you plan on doing mains on poles over subs, the JBLs would be the better option versus the RCF 702-AS. They’re reasonably priced, small, and weigh 56lbs each. While they lack the volume and extension of a good 18” sub, the pair of them did a good job of filling in the bottom.

I was pleasantly surprised with their performance. We were in a brewery - 25’ ceilings, hard surfaces everywhere, about 200 people. I recently added a pair of JBL PRX815XLFW subs to my band’s system and used them last night for a NYE party gig.
